Introduction: Portuguese Communication Exercises
University of Texas at Austin Boa tarde! 22 July 2008 Portuguese Communication Exercises is a compilation of brief video clips in which native speakers of Portuguese from various locations throughout Brazil and Portugal demonstrate various language tasks. The objective of the clips is to provide students of Portuguese with the necessary tools to be able to talk about the same topics in Portuguese. In order to do this Portuguese Communication Exercises contains samples of native speakers who also perform the communication tasks. These clips are not scripted. What the native speakers say is what they really said. Some may talk fast, others talk slow, and some have specific regional dialects. After reviewing the video clips of the native speakers, students will be more prepared to perform the same communication tasks. The gray bar above contains the communication topics, divided by level of dificulty: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Superior. Drag the mouse over any of these levels to see a list of topics. Then click on any of the specific topics to see the thumb-nail photos of the various speakers. Click on the person's name or on the thumb-nail picture to open a new window with the video clip. You may return to this homepage at any time by clicking on the header at the top of every page. Each video clip page opens with a Quicktime movie with start, stop, and pause buttons long the bottom of the video. There are also three buttons along the top right corner of the page. These buttons [P, E, N] allow users to read a Portuguese transcript [P], or a English translation [E], or view the clip without any text at all [N]. A few words of thanks. Thanks to all who were willing to be video taped, including many Brazilian students who attend the University of Texas. Also, thanks go to many students from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and the Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo who were willing to be video taped. Thanks goes to Valdo Oliveira who wrote many of the initial transcriptions. A special thanks goes to Michelle Schreiner Lima who edited and completed many of the transcriptions and translations. In fact, users will find both Valdo's and Michelle's clips in the compilation. 资料来源:http://www.laits.utexas.edu/orkelm/ppe/intro.html pdf文档,在这个地址里也可以下载的。 这个系列比较完整的,我会陆续整理到我们论坛里面来,请大家关注,谢谢! |
