ola / hi ( used on first time to meet some body)
alo / Hello ( in my opinion, mostly used on the moment to call some body or answer the phone)
Oi / hi ( to call some body you know or friends )

bom dia (good morning)
boa tarde ( good afternoon)
boa noite ( good night)

até logo ( see you later)
Adeus ( good 'bye)
tchau ( bye)


para comprimentos os amigos: ( greetings to people or your friends )
como está? - how are you (common)
todo bem? - everything all right? (some people you know or your friends)
estás bom? - how are you ( some people you know or friends)
como é que estás? - how are you doing? ( common)

those 4 above, you could answer like: bem, obrigado / fine thanks
